Booze and Barrels is a proudly Australian owned and operated manufacturer, recognised as a leader in delivering innovative, comprehensive, and customised gift solutions through our store and warehouse across Australia and New Zealand.
We are seeking a Part-time Website Administrator to join our team in Fyshwick, ACT. In this role, you will report to the Marketing team and be responsible for maintaining and monitoring the day to day operations of our business websites. You'll manage style and layout updates, track and optimise traffic flow, perform regular data backups, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. You'll also act as the primary point of contact for customers and internal staff seeking assistance with website matters, working closely with all stakeholders to resolve queries efficiently.
Your eagerness to learn in a hands-on environment will see you trouble shooting and problem solving and working independently to implement solutions in a fast-paced environment.
The skills we are looking for:
A good technical understanding of front-end website design and web development languages (HTML, CSS & JavaScript) (essential)
Using CMS and e-commerce platforms is essential to this role.
A solid understanding of what makes a great user experience and how to apply UX/UI principles to web page design.
You will demonstrate initiative and can complete tasks proactively without direction.

• Website data backups and implementing firewalls and anti-malware protections.
Monitors website traffic and performance, and identifies and troubleshoots issues that affect performance.
Ensures backup and disaster recovery plans are in place to protect websites and web applications from data loss and downtime.
Excellent attention to detail and strong verbal and written communication skills.

What We're Looking For:
A relevant bachelor's degree-level qualification or higher
At least 1 year of full-time or part time work experience in retail industry or, relevant multimedia or digital content production experience or on a managerial position.
Experience with development of animations or motion graphics
Exposure to HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
A proven ability to work across a variety of formats and across multiple platforms.
Maintain multimedia resources on SharePoint, ensuring that resources are up-to-date and reflect a high-quality product.
Proficiency with industry-standard software and willingness to learn
Excellent technical and communication skills
