Toll Group is searching for an experienced Driver Trainer/Compliance Officer to ensure co-ordination of all infield compliance activities including Chain of Responsibility, Verification of Competency, and other Driver Training activities are performed and updated continuously.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role will develop, implement and monitor best practice policy and procedure to enable managers to effectively increase our overall level of compliance. This position allows someone to work with Tier One customers such as BHP and Santos, as well as network within the broader Mining Oil & Gas customer base.
Toll is committed to investing in this role, and will support the incumbent through and further training, qualifications or licencing required for the role.
As the Driver Trainer/ Compliance Officer, you will:
- Provide training and competency review of all load restraint activities, assuming the role of SME for Toll.
- Coordinate and deliver training that enhance the understanding and effectiveness of the IMS, risk management, safety leadership, hazard reduction and continuous improvement.
- Provide SME insight and support investigate significant safety incidents and any other incidents requiring an ICAM investigation.
**Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a driver, with exposure to HSE programs.
- Current unrestricted MC Class Drivers Licence
- DG and LF tickets or qualifications highly desirable.
- Cert IV Workplace Traning and Assessment highly desirbale.
