Australian Federal Government Agency has a requirement for an Enterprise Risk Coordinatorin Canberra

This role which works alongside technical and scientific personnel, supporting them to deliver regulatory services and physical, chemical, and biological research and testing services including calibrations and analyses. The group is responsible for the continuous improvement and maintenance of the Quality Management System and the workplace health and safety management system. The team also provides guidance and advice to staff in investigating and resolving quality non-conformances, safety incidents, hazards and the provision of a safe working environment.

Have demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management and project management and the experience and drive to take a leading role in considering and monitoring the division's enterprise risks

Have the skills, knowledge and experience to assist holistically assess and mitigate risks in a structured and integrated way, including by building as appropriate on the Department's well-established work health and safety risk framework

Work closely with other members of the Quality and Safety Team, including to build their knowledge and understanding of broader organisational risks and to ensure the high standards of quality and safety are maintained as other risks are being considered

Have the demonstrated capacity to readily communicate with colleagues at all levels, from junior staff through to very senior leadership. Proactively manage, build and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Provide comprehensive and expert advice on enterprise risk management in a complex laboratory and regulatory division that sits within an Australian Government departmental context.

**Experience and Qualifications**:
a sound knowledge of government processes,

experience in managing risk in a commercial or industrial environment

relevant tertiary qualifications

experience with managing and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS) and/or Work Health and Safety Management Systems (WHSMS).
