**About the role - Permanent Fulltime**

The Practice and Compliance Lead is responsible for supporting leaders and staff in the implementation and embedding of Baptist Care SA’s Practice Framework, ensuring that services meet the highest standards for quality, compliance and safety.

The Practice and Compliance Lead will work closely with the Senior Manager in Disability Pathways to ensure the delivery and development of service strategy, compliance and modelling.

This role also supports the Senior Manager with strategic and operational leadership to achieve relevant industry standards and high-quality service delivery.
- Key responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:_
- Provide expert advice and guidance on practice to staff across programs to enable the delivery of quality care and client outcomes
- Provide practice oversight and facilitate practice development activities including workshops, training, individual and group supervision
- Develop and implement processes that support the Managers, Coordinators to achieve successful matching of workers to NDIS participants
- Support the Senior Manager, the wider Disability Pathways leadership team and Governance and risk in maintaining risk registers

You will also have the following skills and experience:

- Relevant tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications and experience in the field of community services with an emphasis on providing care to NDIS participants in community settings
- Tertiary Qualification relevant to the work i.e., Bachelor of Social Work, Social Sciences, Counselling or Psychology
- 5 years’ experience in similar roles
- Significant experience working with vulnerable and at-risk people with disability and or challenging behaviours

You will be required to have, or be willing to obtain:

- Full unrestricted South Australia Driver’s Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children check
- National Police Clearance
- Training: Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)
- Training: Safe Environments for Children and Young People (Through Their Eyes)
- Willingness to obtain other employment requirements as outlined in the Baptist Care SA risk assessed roles document
- Ability to work outside of normal office hours may be required
- Use of own vehicle
