For this full-time position, depending on your experience, we’re offering a fixed salary of between $135,000 to $150,000 plus superannuation. In addition, we’re pleased to offer the following benefits:
- Annual performance payments of up to 15% of fixed salary.

- Relocation and sponsorship support for interstate/overseas applicants.
- Fifteen (15) days personal / carers’ leave per year.

**The Opportunity**:
ElectraNet is at the forefront of South Australia’s clean energy future and the global transition to clean energy. We’re leading the integration of renewables across the energy industry with a state target of 100% renewables by 2030.
As part of the Telecommunications team, you will be responsible for providing delivery and management of highly available, secure, predictable, and business aligned data network services to ElectraNet. The role has specific focus on, and is responsible for, IP-based network services within a framework of continuous improvement. Beyond the delivery of day-to-day IP Network engineering, the role works within the Telecommunications team facilitating delivery of various strategic projects.
These activities will require:
- Knowledge of industry best practice in LAN/WAN architecture and network administration of switches, routers, firewalls and wireless
- Demonstrated experience in developing network system solutions that mitigate risk and maximise security
- Knowledge of industry best practice in IP/MPLS and Telecommunication Network Security Architectures and extensive experience in designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing secure IP and telecommunication networks.
- Experience in working with IT support personnel and key business stakeholders to design, implement and support a reliable and efficient IP network infrastructure
- Exemplary communication skills.
**About You**:
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related discipline, essential.
- Industry qualifications to CCNP/CCIE level or equivalent, essential.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Engineering, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related role.
- Electricity Industry background is desirable.
