**Skills and Experience needed**:

- Experience and knowledge of Australian Consumer Credit and privacy regimes
- Knowledge and experience of retail banking, wealth, private banking and the Australian banking and financial services legal regime and procurement law
- Experience in the drafting and negotiation of a broad range of commercial contracts, supplier contracts, platform agreements and disclosure statements across the spectrum of retail and wealth management products
- Experience providing legal guidance in relation to a wide range of laws and regulations such as the National Consumer Credit Protection Act, National Credit Code, Banking Code of Practice, the Corporations Act and unfair contracts laws
- Experience in financial regulation or technology related contracts and advisory activities
- Experience in providing legal and regulatory advice across new products and services, material activities and projects and proactively anticipating legal issues and identifying future legal requirements
- Experience in monitoring and providing advice on changes in relevant laws, regulations and industry standards
- The ability to understand and troubleshoot complex commercial legal and regulatory issues, consult with relevant stakeholders and propose practical solutions
- Strong collaborative, organisational and project management abilities
- Ability to provide support with key strategic projects and/or BAU
