**Panthers Penrith has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced marketing communications professional to join their vibrant, fast-paced Marketing Department.**

**About the Role **

Panthers have an exciting opportunity for a motivated marketing communications professional with exceptional writing and organisational skills to join our Marketing Department. Based at our Penrith Club, your attention to detail will be superior and your written and verbal communication skills will be your greatest assets. Your creative, positive, can-do approach will be infectious and you will think outside of the square to deliver a fun and entertaining brand personality to the 120,000 membership base and wider communities. This role will entail channelling a variety of marketing platforms with a focus on digital and social media to promote our great Club.

While this job is primarily a Monday
- Friday role, you may be required to work on special event days and busy weekends.

**In this role, you will be required to undertake the following duties**:

- Responsible for planning and executing the social media and content calendar across all online marketing channels
- Develop high quality content across all our social media platforms
- Coordinate high-quality, timely and engaging responses to our followers including complaint handling
- Assist in capturing and re-sharing user generated content (UGC)
- Engage with and grow our on online community
- Develop strong and consistent online presence
- Work with external marketing agencies to ensure our organic social media and paid advertising are in sync
- Prepare and distribute monthly reporting on engagement and audience growth across our social media channels
- Keep on top of new digital channels, trends and capabilities and helping to identify new opportunities.
- Assist Marketing team to coordinate and execute content film/photo shoots and events.
- Assist with other marketing projects and day-to-day tasks

**To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following**:

- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Marketing Communications;
- Experience in digital and social marketing to include strategic and creative development, community engagement and content production;
- Previous experience and thorough understanding of social media platforms (e.g. Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook);
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and/or Communications;
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral;
- Ability to multi-task, achieve deadlines and create and adhere to schedules and;
- Outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail and a positive can-do attitude.
