
Health and Safety Advisor

**The Role**:
We are currently seeking a suitable qualified and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team for an immediate start on Western Australia Projects.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Provide training, consultation, monitoring and governance to support stakeholders and ensure all WHSE legislation and procedures are implemented and effective
- Adhere to, support and assist with the implementation and continual improvement of all company Policies and procedures
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with relevant stakeholders including, staff and project managers, clients and allied professionals
- Maintain professional standards whilst meeting company objectives in relation to, service quality, company reputation, WHS and environmental legislative requirements and standards
- Positively influence, and advise leaders and workers on health and safety matters, requirements under Health & Safety legislation, and drive forward the agenda for positive health and safety change in the workplace
- Maintain a sound knowledge of current legislation, policies and guidelines
- Provide advice, training, consultation, monitoring and governance for compliance
- Lead allocated site visits, inspections, incident investigations
- Develop and format high quality documents, presentation material, training material, and internal and external reports for stakeholders
**Essential Criteria**:
- A valid driver’s licence
- White Card
- High level of computer literacy, Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint
- Excellent safety, work ethics and communication skills
- Strong ability to work with others: clients, fellow workers, subordinates, and management
- Relevant qualification/s
- Must be willing / able to work away at remote sites as well as work locally in the Perth Metro area
