Melbourne, Australia Flybuys Full time

**About Us**:
We’re known for being the country’s most popular rewards program with over 8 million active members. And through our extended network of partnerships with other nationally recognised brands, we make every day worth more for our Aussie members.
But, we're more than the card you carry around in your wallet or the app on your phone With over 300 team members and growing, we have amazing office spaces in Sydney and Melbourne. Staying true to our flexible working policy and people-centric culture, we ensure all our team members are set up to work remotely across Australia. We are outcomes-focused, and everything we do is aligned with our core values _-_*_ Be United, Be Relevant, Be Passionate, Be Generous, _**and **_Doing the Right Thing._*
**Your Team**:
Join our amazing Web & Content team and become the 2IC to our squad Engineering Manager.
We’ve already built a strong team, but we're not looking for more of the same. Our day-to-day is made stronger when we surround ourselves with people who are different, like you.
To be transparent, you're not going to be able to write home about the shiny new website features and functionality you've played a part in creating. This team focus on delivering the underlying tech and operational efficiencies rather than the fancy feature sets. We build the engine of the car, not the body work.
We work really hard to build teams that support each other, collaborate together and provide you with the chance to really spread your wings.
**Your Role**:
We're keen to find someone who is enthusiastic about knowing everything. Someone who can look for areas to uplift operational efficiencies; how can we expand at scale with the least amount of touch points and where can we automate.
Question the status quo, provide the ROI of new directions and advocate the advantages to your peers.
We want you to be a collaborative point of contact for both our operational and engineering departments to come and raise initiatives to help make their jobs easier.
There is no typical working week at Flybuys. But here are some of the things you might be working on, day-to-day;
- Take accountability for owning the definition, sequencing and prioritising of the roadmaps to support key Flybuys technical platforms.
- Help inspire and provide a clear purpose and goal for the platform teams to strive for.
