**About the Role**
Core functions of the role include:
- Maintaining a regulatory and political affairs strategy and engaging in proactive engagement with the key stakeholders
- Conducting impact analysis on emerging legislation or regulatory change relevant to Youi
- Ensuring that the business is proactively made aware of regulatory matters that may impact Youi;
- Responding to regulatory notices and overseeing the centralised regulatory affairs database;
- Engaging with Youi’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and other senior stakeholders to coordinate communications and information for our regulators
- Communicating timeframes across the team and ensuring work is delivered in advance through strong stakeholder engagement
- Compiling business information packs and reporting on behalf of the CRO and EGM Legal & Compliance
This position will ideally be based at our beautiful Sunshine Coast head office, however there is flexibility to work from home or other Australian locations.
**About You**
- Significant exposure to regulators, reputation risk management and/or project management roles
- Commercially minded with the ability to hit the ground running and manage relationships at all levels of a business
- Excellent stakeholder management expertise, with the ability to build credibility with business partners, underpinned by first class communication and influencing skills and a proactive mindset
- High level of integrity and professional accountability
- Ability to embrace change in a fast-paced environment
- Tertiary qualification/s in a discipline such as Law, Business or Compliance preferred
- Broad knowledge and experience across financial services and regulatory regimes will be highly regarded.
