- do these characteristics describe you? Holmesglen Private Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant to join our team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and achieving high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction, in this fast paced and varied environment across the Hospital. This role will see you cleaning in a variety of areas across the Hospital including patient rooms, corporate offices and hallways.

Holmesglen Private Hospital is a world class facility located in the South Eastern region of Melbourne. Close to public transport and with affordable onsite parking.

Holmesglen Private is a state of the art 147 bed hospital, comprising of a 24/7 Emergency Department, 6 bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 9 bed specialised Coronary Care Unit (CCU), 12 bay Day Infusion Unit and 5 specialised inpatient units. - including Oncology, Urology, ENT, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and Rehabilitation Services

**As an Environmental Service Assistant your responsibilities will include**:

- Provide high standard of cleaning services
- Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service to staff, clients and patients
- Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development

**Essential Criteria**:

- Previous cleaning experience in Healthcare/hotel/airline cleaning is preferred but not essential
- Working with Children check
- Police check will be required
- Commitment to service excellence
- Proven time management skills and ability to manage priorities
- Strong communication and customer skills
- Attention to detail
- Work well independently and within a team
