The Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Lead Analyst is a senior professional role within the organisation. You will be a strategic business advisor driving performance assessment, informed decision making while leveraging best in class forward looking processes and tools More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

- Support FP&A head and businesses with preparation of outlooks, forecasts and annual Plan, and provide insights on variances to forecasts.
- Execute, review and challenge of forecast key assumptions and analysis of key sensitivities in preparation for submission to senior management
- Conduct deep dive analysis on business drivers impacting revenues, expenses, balance sheet and capital, to provide insights to senior management and drive improvement in business performance;
- Anticipate new trends which may impact financial performance and recommend improvement initiatives to drive business results.
- Prepare reports and briefing material for management on business performance as needed
- Active involvement in all forward-looking stress testing activities, such as Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), ICAAP, IRE etc.
- Coordinate FP&A activities, including liaising within Finance units, business and Treasury
- Work with the onshore and offshore FP&A teams through plan functional cycles in line with corporate timetables

**What you'll need to succeed**

These skills and experience will help you succeed in this role:

- Degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related degree.
- 6-10 years of experience within planning/forecasting in a financial institution.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Network with wider teams, ability to build partnerships and working relationships is very important
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, financial modelling background preferred
- Ability to prioritise, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Extensive Excel and PowerPoint experience and other Office suite products. Experience with accounting systems Oracle Essbase, FRM and Pearl
- Experience with financial forecasting system RUBY preferred, ability to administer financial product setup in system, and review outputs for accuracy
