**About Me**

Hi I’m a 45-year-old woman living with Hereditary Spastic Quadriplegia, and I’m looking for friendly, supportive, and fun Support Workers to be part of my journey in achieving my NDIS goals.

I love cats, koalas, chocolate, and salty foods. I also enjoy being social, having conversations, feeling involved when people talk around me, and being acknowledged. You’ll often find me watching footy (I’m a big fan of the Crows but love any game), going to the pool for a swim, or enjoying the colour pink.

What truly makes me happy are the activities I love such as, going to the movies, listening to music, doing arts and crafts, getting my makeup done, visiting the pub, attending music concerts in Adelaide or Victor Harbor and enjoying fun pamper days

I’m looking for Support Worker’s who share my enthusiasm for life, enjoy working in a team environment, and who can bring a sense of joy and laughter to our time together.

**The Role**

This is an exciting opportunity to join my wonderful support team, where you’ll assist me in living my best life. My support model is 2:3 as I live with two other housemates, but sometimes I receive 1:1 support throughout the day.

As my Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting me with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- PEG feeding
- Personal care support
- Manual handling (Level 3)
- Supporting me in achieving my personal goals
- Facilitating my life skill development through structured programs
- Providing person-centred active support
- Keeping accurate records to ensure best practice care

**Shifts Available**

I’m looking for someone to join my team on a casual basis with the potential to move into a permanent role. To be successful, you will be able to work across a 24 hour roster inclusive of **active overnights and weekends.**

**What You’ll Need**:
To be a great fit for my team, you’ll need:

- NDIS Worker Screening
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Current First Aid & CPR Certification
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability/Aged Care) or relevant qualification
