We are currently seeking a **Support Worker who speaks fluent Tamil** to assist a male participant with a **right above-knee amputation**. The participant uses crutches and/or a lower limb prosthesis, experiences chronic pain and impaired mobility, and has **Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)**. We require a compassionate, reliable individual to provide essential support and ensure the participant’s comfort and well-being.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide in-home support and assistance with daily activities.
- Support mobility, including the use of crutches and/or a lower limb prosthesis.
- Assist with personal care tasks.
- Provide backup support when the primary carer is unavailable or takes leave.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Fluent in **Tamil** (mandatory).
- **Minimum Certificate III in Disability or Individual support**.
- Current **First Aid** and **CPR** certification.
- **Working With Vulnerable People** card.
- A **suitable vehicle** for transportation with **full comprehensive insurance**.
- Based in or around **Gungahlin, ACT**.

We are seeking a dedicated support worker who can provide compassionate care and assist with all aspects of the participant’s needs, especially with their mobility challenges and PTSD.

Pay: $35.15 - $95.10 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 15 per week
