Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Oakleigh, VIC. We are looking for someone who is highly available and can work on a flexible schedule, including weekends and public holidays. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. You will be working with clients who may have disabilities, mental health conditions, or aged care needs. Your role will be to help our clients maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Administering medication and monitoring the health status of clients
- Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social events
- Assisting with household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Maintaining accurate records of daily activities and reporting any concerns to the supervisor
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure quality care is provided to clients

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Aged Care
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Willingness to undergo a police check and provide a working with children check

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Experience in providing care to individuals with disabilities, mental health conditions, or aged care is highly desirable
