Job description:
We are currently seeking a **female support worker** to provide in-person support to an adult female NDIS participant located in the Oakleigh area. This role is focused on **companionship and assistance with general daily routines**, excluding domestic tasks and personal hygiene. You’ll be helping to enhance day-to-day wellbeing through friendly and supportive interaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- One-on-one companionship and social support
- Assistance with general routines and light daily structure
- Participate in meaningful activities that support independence

**Essential Requirements**:

- Female support worker (participant preference in line with Gender Equality Act)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (current)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC - current)
- Police Check (current)
- Full driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle
- Physically able to manage a wheelchair
- Friendly, reliable and good communicator

**Preferred**:

- Based in or around Oakleigh or willing to travel
- Prior experience supporting NDIS participants or in community care roles
