**Your new company**
A statutory authority responsible for protecting the environment. You’ll work with the Science Services team based in Melbourne.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Science Services Lead, you’ll:
- Manage daily requests for scientific information and advice to support regulatory decision-making
- Provide data and information on requests for scientific information to identify trends, emerging issues and needs, and enable performance reporting on the provision of science services to the Senior Executive Committee
- Support the management of Applied Science Connect, including the Applied Science Knowledge Bank; contribute to the implementation and management of EnviroManager
**What you'll need to succeed**
You’ll have tertiary qualifications in environmental sciences or a related discipline as well as:
- Experience in one or more of air, noise, odour, contaminated environments, waste, water, human health, or chemistry sciences
- A detailed understanding of the Environment Protection Act 2017 and regulations
