Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Fund Operations to assist in managing the overall Asset Management operations and achieve growth and profit targets. As the Head of Fund Operations, you will work with other divisional and group executives to develop high-level strategic approaches to complex problems and oversee the development of the division's strength, platform, and capability.

**Primary Role & Responsibilities**:

- Assisting to manage the overall operations of the Asset Management division, including investor administration and investor services functions, to achieve growth and profit targets
- Point of escalation for customer complaints and resolution
- Leading/assisting key strategic projects for the Asset Management division, including product development/implementation
- Assisting and overseeing the ongoing development and uplift of the Asset Management division's platform and operations
- Monitoring performance of the funds Australian Credit Fund together with the Chief Liquidity Officer (CLO)
- Building and maintaining strategic relationships with key business partners
- Developing and coaching the EGMs, Managers, and Team Leaders and maintaining a dynamic team
- Provide regular updates and reports to CIO and Senior Management
- Representing the firm in a professional manner and upholding the core values of the company at all times

**Minimum Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required**:

- Minimum of eight (8) years of banking sector or wealth management industry experience
- Minimum of five (5) of the most recent years in senior positions within the banking sector or wealth management
- Degree/Diploma in Commerce/Finance, MBA, or similar discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, time management skills, attention to detail
- Demonstrated target focus
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and remain a team player in a pressurized environment
- An ability to identify and engage with key stakeholders across the business and to form strong, collaborative partnerships
- An appreciation for the importance of accuracy and clear messaging through appropriate communication channels
- Appreciation of the opportunities offered through the use of technology, including evolving technologies
- Demonstrated ability to identify, lead and develop initiatives that drive down costs and at the same time achieve better business outcomes
