Role Requirements
- While accounting qualifications are not mandatory, the possession of a relevant degree is considered to be highly desirable given the technical nature of this role.
- Experience using SAP S4/HANA, Analysis For Office (AFO), Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Teams and Outlook would be highly desirable.

Key Duties and Accountability
- Manage the Finance Business Support team and promote a collaborative team environment which encourages a customer-focused culture and sharing of information.
- Lead and manage the team in the provision of prompt and effective delivery of financial activities to clients and stakeholders.
- Develop high levels of technical skills to monitor and support team members to deliver financial services effectively.
- Support best practice in end-to-end financial services by developing strong partnerships with business groups, Business Partners and Finance and Corporate Operations.
- Provide feedback to Finance and Corporate Operations in relation to systems and processes with the aim of identifying changes that will contribute to the continual improvement of financial operations within the business.
- Develop a dynamic, flexible, resilient, and skilled team through effective leadership, performance monitoring and professional development opportunities.
- Provide support to other team leader/supervisors in peak periods and actively participate in various meetings/conferences as a member of the broader finance network.
- Contribute to the formulation of the teams work plan and actively participate in the delivery of programs of work.
- Foster a professional environment which encourages commitment, ethical behaviour, skills development, and continuous learning.
- Support the Office of the Deputy Director-General in the identification and implementation of business improvement projects and initiatives.
- Other duties as directed and required.
