**Lifestyle/Recreational Activities Officer**

**Classification**: Part Time
- **Location**:IRT Kangara Waters - ACT- If you are passionate and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of older Australians, come and join our fantastic IRT team today.- This extremely rewarding role will contribute to the activity offerings for residents to enhance their life and sense of security, companionship, fun and relaxation.- Permanent Part-Time opportunity 21 hours per week, Wednesday to Friday.**Perks**:

**What you’ll be doing**:
As a Lifestyle Officer, you will assist in the evaluation, design and delivery of enjoyable lifestyle programs that support the emotional well-being of our residents. You’ll support the individual assessment of resident lifestyle and welfare needs whilst maintaining resident independence and contributing to the continuous improvement of lifestyle activities.**To be successful you will have**:

- A qualification in an appropriate field such as Certificate IV Leisure and Health and/or relevant industry experience (Desirable)
- Initiative and creative flair
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts including weekends
- Up-to-date knowledge of the needs of persons living with dementia
