**About the Role**

This roles leads the largest Speech Pathology public health team in Victoria and is a key Allied Health leadership position at Monash Health. The purpose of the role is to provide professional leadership to Speech Pathology employees across Monash Health. You will hold operational responsibility and strategic leadership for the bed based Speech Pathology departments across our bed based sites. You will ensure patients/clients receive safe and effective care through the provision of evidence based health care, education and research.

You have been developing your operational and strategic leadership skills or are an accomplished speech pathology leader. You have experience enabling others to deliver excellent patient outcomes. You lead by example, thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment and are truly passionate about evidence based care. **What you need**:

- a Bachelor of Speech Pathology, Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or recognised equivalent
- Eligible for certified practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia
- Experience managing a large, complex workforce
- Hold or working towards a relevant higher qualification
- Australian working rights
