**The Role**
The EL 1 Systems Manager will exercise a considerable degree of independence and perform a leadership role within the Defence Coordination Centre (DCC) by heading up the Systems function within the organisation.

The Systems function within the DCC is responsible for learning systems management, subscription licences, network management, technical support including hardware support and advice, equipment management, IT maintenance and security and close relationship management with key stakeholders. In addition, the Systems function supports the generation of learning and student statistics, SharePoint development and maintenance, student portal administration, support to virtual learning environments and support to contract management.

**About our Team**
The DCC will provide a long-term sustainable pipeline of trained personnel to support the delivery of joint cyber warfare effects to ensure Defence is able to protect, monitor, detect, and respond against cyber incidents or to target adversary systems. Defence will partner with the Australian Signals Directorate to deliver advanced cyber warfare training.

This partnership will enable the acceleration of the portfolio’s defensive and offensive capabilities, as well as providing ongoing certification of qualified personnel.
