Due to business growth, we have new opportunity for a Leading Hand to join us on a permanent full-time basis with flexibility in start / finish times required dependent on business needs (Monday-Friday). In this **hands-on** role you will support the Cleanable Manager to ensure the delivery of new and existing services whilst ensuring appropriate support is provided to the team.

This position requires a self-motivated individual to drive productivity and processes to enhance efficiency within the team. Your excellent interpersonal skills will ensure you build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, whilst providing high quality customer service.

**Duties**:

- Provide a high-quality hands-on execution of a range of cleaning services across all areas of the business
- Assist the Cleanable Manager in an efficient and effective manner that ensures services meet the necessary quality specifications and productivity requirements.
- In consultation with the Cleanable Manager, ensure contractual obligations are delivered, evaluated and improved as appropriate.
- Ensure all policies and practices are complied with as well as implementation of new procedures when required.
- Problems impacting on the performance of the service are communicated to the Cleanable Manager and are dealt with in an effective and timely manner.
- Support the team in maintaining commercial viability of the business

**About you**:

- You have proven experience working as part of a team or individually in multiple locations
- You are a people person that can articulate information in a way that is easily understood
- You have an excellent work ethic and the ability to show initiative - A self-starter
- You have a Current Working with Children Check, or ability to obtain one.
- **Current driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle are essential due to the nature of the role**

Westgate Community Initiatives Group Ltd (WCIG) is a community based not for profit organisation that is committed to creating practical responses to unemployment in the western region of Melbourne and Geelong. WCIG operates two social enterprises to create accessible employment for people with a disability. One of our social enterprise businesses, Cleanable Property Maintenance is undergoing an exciting phase of growth. Cleanable is a commercial cleaning service, which has grown to include domestic cleaning as well as office and home maintenance.
