Job Title Factory Hand (Machine Operator / Assembler)

Reports to Production Manager
Location Knoxfield, VIC
EBA / Award Level 5 EBA
**Shift Times Afternoon shift**: 2:30 pm - 10:36 pm
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee carries out work associated with the running of the machines, including:

- Moulding machine loading and unloading
- All custom moulding jobs
- Understands the Production sched ule.
- Able to conduct Tooling changes under guidance
- Assists in all specialized box assembly
- Able to assemble all general products.
- Able to complete most Custom Molding jobs. Reads and interprets assembly and machine operation instructions.
- Is flexible between work areas.
- Able to train new employees in Molding Machine production.
- Ability or aptitude to learn how to operate roto-molding machine, hand tools and power tools.

SAFETY CULTURE
- Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Implements and enforce proper handling and storage procedures for hazardous or controlled materials.
- Audits and ensures site safety and reports hazards, near misses and safety incidents into the Safety Management System.
- Keeps the workstation clean and organized.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work independently or within a team environment.
- Attention to detail and manufacture products to meet our quality standards.
- Previous manufacturing/factory/assembly experience an advantage, but not essential.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be frequently required to execute the following physical activities:

- Standing
- Sitting
- Reach above shoulder
- Bending - Repetitive hand/wrist activities
- Walking - Kneeling
- Squatting
- Lift up to 10 kgs following safe lifting techniques
- Move up to 20 kgs following safe manual handling techniques
- Walk up and down stairs
