Machine Operator

Sweet William is a small specialty chocolate manufacturer in Matraville NSW. We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and hardworking Machine Operator to join our team. The role is for a 5 day week (38 hours) Monday to Thursday 6am to 2:30pm and Fridays 6am - 12pm.

Job Role:

- Operations management of 3 machines, inclusive of:

- Moulding line
- Chip/ button line
- Wrapping line
- Ability to lead when Production supervisor is not around
- Maintain cleanliness in factory
- Upkeep of machinery
- Monitor product standards and implement HACCP and food standards
- Record daily production figures and temperature records
- Ensure that all operations are carried out in a safe manner and in accordance with company OHS/QA
- Labelling finished cases with proper identification.

Selection Criteria:

- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Excellent planning and organising skills
- Previous experience within the food industry would be favourable
- Experience on a Production Line
- Forklift licence highly favourable

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Matraville, NSW 2036: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Machine operating: 1 year (preferred)
- Manufacturing & Utilities Occupations: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (required)
