**Our journey**

The **Victorian Heart Hospital** will be Australia’s first dedicated heart hospital and is nearing its final stages of construction. It will include a full range of ambulatory and inpatient cardiac care, including cardiac theatres, cardiac catheterisation laboratories, emergency, intensive care, and ambulatory services such as cardiac CT, echocardiography and specialist consultation. It will also feature a unique, patient centred model of care. The **Victorian Heart Hospital** will also play a key role in advancing research and teaching and will be home to the Victorian Heart Institute, a brand new, health and medical research organisation at Monash University.

**Recruiting Now - Clinical Support Nurses Opportunities, Victorian Heart Hospital**

The **Clinical Support Nurse** **(CSN) **is a clinical supervision role providing clinical support and guidance to Nurses across Monash Health. This classification is supernumerary (does not carry a clinical case load). The **CSN** ensures that **Monash Health** Nurses practice safe, effective, person-centred contemporary care.

As part of our growth **NaMES** is excited to offer the following historic **Clinical Support Nurse **roles located at the heart hospital across the following cardiac areas:

- ** Acute Cardiac Care Unit (.6 - 1.2 eft) - **our acute cardiovascular service will provide a universal model of patient care across the entire length of stay (part-time
- ** Ambulatory (.6 - 1.2 eft) - **patients will experience an efficient, streamlined and integrated approach to care from our expert, multidisciplinary team****:

- **Emergency** **(1 eft)** - first dedicated cardiac emergency service in Australia, including a 22-bed capacity
- ** Undergraduate** **(2 eft)** - supports nursing students within various undergraduate year levels

In this important role, you will provide clinical supervision, support, and guidance to nurses, ensuring practice is safe, effective, person-centred contemporary care by;
- promoting evidence-based nursing care in a range of settings
- supporting formal education programs
- supporting continuing professional development
- reporting goals, actions and outcomes periodically as required
