**About the Role**:
We are looking for a passionate and driven **Basketball Skills Coach** to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high quality, structured training sessions to youth athletes, helping them improve their technical skills, basketball IQ and overall confidence. Training formats include small group sessions, holiday clinics and specialised development programs throughout the year.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead engaging and effective skills sessions tailored to different age groups and ability levels
- Provide individualised feedback and coaching to support athlete growth and performance
- Maintain open and effective communication with fellow coaches to ensure consistency and alignment
- Communicate professionally with parents about player development, session updates and expectations
- Foster a safe and supportive training environment aligned with academy values
- Represent the academy with professionalism both on and off the court

**Requirements**:

- **Professional basketball playing experience** (domestic or international)
- Prior **coaching experience** is highly regarded
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to connect with and inspire youth athletes
- A commitment to continuous learning and development
- **Current Blue Card** (Working with Children Check) or willingness to obtain one

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 10 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Bonus
- Commission
- Signing bonus

Work Location: In person
