We are currently seeking a Factory Manager to support senior management in overseeing the processing operations at our facility.

**The Role**

This role primarily involves supporting the Sandalwood Manager in ensuring the efficient production flow of the factory. This includes supervising factory staff, ensuring product quality control, assisting with WHS (Work Health and Safety) policies and procedures, and acquiring the necessary skills to operate all factory machinery under the direction of the Sandalwood Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Sandalwood Manager to acquire the skills and expertise needed to enhance workflow and efficiency within the factory, as well as to support and motivate factory staff.
- Ensure product quality by adhering to the specifications set by management and clients.
- Monitor production schedules as needed to meet customer demands and shipping deadlines.
- Supervise and lead a team of factory hands, providing guidance, training, roster schedules and support as needed. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify training needs to support employee development.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with company WHS policies and procedures while promoting a culture of safety awareness among employees.

**Requirements**:

- Timber industry experience is not necessary as on-the-job training will be provided, with opportunities for advancement in the future.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking.
- Experience in a supervisory role.

**Salary**: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
