Digital Print Assistant - Pre-Press/Digital Document Printing and Finishing.

You will be involved in the day to day operation of our in-house print production.

**Skills Required**:
We value a person who has a strong work ethic, a passion for delivering a quality product, a willingness to learn and a strong eye for detail.

Print production experience is favourable but not essential as we would be willing to provide on the job training for the right applicant.

Our workplace is a fast-paced and quickly changing environment - a high degree of accuracy, time management, as well as an ability to work within a team is essential for the role.

**DUTIES - The duties will you be required to perform in this role**:

- Communicating with customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Pre-press, colour correction and file imposition.
- Fixing of files including limited graphic design.
- Managing the print work flow.
- Finishing; including but not limited to Binding, Drilling, Laminating, Scoring and Folding.
- Packaging and dispatching of jobs.
- Organise and maintain the print room to a high standard.

**SKILLS - Highly regarded but non-essential**:

- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Be able to fit and contribute within a small team.
- An extremely strong ability to understand time frames and customer expectations associated with them.
- You are a self-starter who enjoys taking initiative in the workplace.
- The ability to manage your time, workload and to work unsupervised.
- Take great pride in producing high-quality work.
- Experience operating a Digital Production Printer.
- Understanding of Fiery RIP, Command Workstation & colour correction
- An understanding of the digital printing process
- An understanding of various stock catalogues.

Flexible hours will be Monday-Friday on a 3-6 month trial with the option to full time after approval with bonuses included.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.50 per hour
