**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Group Manager, Work Health & Safety, and working as part of a broader safety, risk and compliance team, this entry-level position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills while making a real impact on workplace safety. You’ll assist in identifying, developing, coordinating, and implementing key WH&S initiatives across our 2000+ workforce, and 41 Depots and Branches across Australia.
You’ll partner with our operational leaders and collaborate with an experienced team to assess, control, and monitor workplace hazards. Your responsibilities may include:
- Participating in risk assessments and exposure monitoring.
- Supporting incident investigations and workplace inspections.
- Assisting with injury management and compliance reviews.
- Contribute to maintaining records and updating WH&S documentation, in accordance with legislative and company requirements, including registers, risk assessments, meeting minutes, investigation documentation and other WH&S information systems.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and other activities that support WH&S practice and continual improvement.
- Support the team on any adhoc duties including engagement with external stakeholder including customers, subcontractors, NHVR and Regulatory Bodies.
