Environmental Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Leading 1 to 2 environmental projects
- Coordinating a cross-functional team (internally)
- Managing partners and stakeholders (externally)
- Developing a clear vision for the projects, with an effective strategy for environmental project formulation, implementation and evaluation
- Ensuring that the environmental projects run smoothly by providing overall leadership, management, and supervision
- Ensuring that the environmental project strategy is clearly communicated with team members, local beneficiaries, and partners
- Ensuring environmental program implementation is on time, target, and budget
- Establishing and overseeing effective environmental project monitoring, evaluation, and reporting systems for both internal and external use and ensure high quality input is obtained from team members
- Overseeing environmental project success, measuring impact, and calibrating project strategy accordingly

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor or Master's degree with additional training in project management
- Between 5 to 10 of relevant work experience in international project management preferably in a development organization (UN, Development Bank, NGO) in projects with a multi-year timeline
- Relevant experience in defining project goals and designing the project structure with relevant stakeholders and/or consortia formed of various types of organisations (private and public)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE / SCRUM / AGILE certification is a plus
- Proven track record in creating and managing project plans and budget control
- Fluent in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus).

**Salary**: $800.00 - $900.00 per day
