**About The Team**:
Coles Property looks after one of Australia’s most dynamic portfolios. Coles Group has over 2,500 retail locations around Australia—and we’re growing every day. Our team manages every one of these locations. And we work side-by-side with our business units on all thing’s property, from site acquisition through to asset management.

**About The Role**:
As our new Asset Manager, you will report to the National Portfolio Manager and maximise the return of the existing and new shopping centre portfolio, including the management of third-party contract managers.

You’ll be joining a highly engaged and happy team who are energised by coming together in person and collaborating to get the job done.

**You'll also**:

- Evaluate monthly financial reports and quarterly forecasting and work with external agents to set annual budgets
- Oversee and work with external agents to manage risk and compliance and uphold presentation standards
- Liaise with third parties to negotiate lease renewals, assignments, new licences, and leases.
- Prepare due diligence materials for property divestments and information for external valuations.
- Work with the Capital Transactions and Development teams to facilitate the smooth transition of new assets under management

**About you and your skills**:
With 5+ years of commercial property / retail asset management experience, you’re a people person and a team player with proven negotiation skills.

**You’ll also have**:

- A property related tertiary qualification, and or relevant experience in a related discipline
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Ability to conduct your work with passion and pace.
