**Position Summary**

In this role you will be responsible for stopping attack traffic on customers' websites, defining and implementing complex attack response strategies, and automating large scale production systems. You will work closely with Security Analysts, Software Developers and Data Scientists to provide a holistic solution to bankrupt fraudsters and attackers. This team is focusing on being adaptive and agile working on Data development & management.

**Primary responsibilities**
- Work independently to analyse, detect and understand attackers across multiple customers
- Communicate analysis results to provide rich insights into the overall attack landscape
- Develop and coordinate strategies to combat known attackers
- Build tools and automated procedures to detect and prevent attackers.
- Produce reports about current attackers to key business stakeholders
- Liaise with Product to define requirements for future attack mitigation features.
- Provide recommendations to customers to improve security and attack responsiveness
- Investigate attacker discussion forums for novel attack vectors

**Must Have**
- A bachelor's degree (Or equivalent experience) in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or another related technical field.
- Proficiency in SQL, preferably around analysing big data datasets
- A proven analytical and problem-solving mindset; ability to translate ambiguous and complex information into actionable insights
- Strong communication and collaboration skills; able to distil complex ideas into straightforward actions
- Experience working with programming languages such as Python, Golang and JavaScript.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate highly technical information in a concise manner

**Nice to Have**
- Technical understanding and investigative capabilities of HTTP protocol and web traffic
- Professional experience as a software developer
- Data Visualization experience
- An intuitive understanding of Game Theory principles
