**The role**:
We are currently recruiting for several Ancillary Claims Consultants to join our Adelaide team on a six month, fixed-term contract. This position will be responsible for assessing and processing health insurance claims and memberships transactions to contribute towards the achievement of individual and team targets.
This role is located at our Adelaide Office and you will be working full time hours, equating to 38 hours per week from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm SA time.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Assessing and processing health insurance claims and membership transactions in accordance with Bupa service standards, benefit levels and published rules
- Undertaking duties whilst maintaining compliance with internal policies, procedures, external laws, regulations, standards and industry codes
- Providing high level of customer service to customers via telephone, internet and letter
- Providing support to the Ancillary Claims Team Leaders with other activities as required
**About you**:
- You have a passion for helping people and strive to provide high quality customer service
- You are tech savvy and feel confident in working across multiple IT platforms and screens effortlessly
- Previous experience in operational process environment or frontline customer service (desirable but not mandatory)
- Exception computer skills as this role involves a large amount of data-capturing
- Mature attitude to your work with sensitivity to our customer’s confidential information
- Highly developed organisation and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and self-manage performance against business requirements
