**About the section**:
Questacon’s Centres Experience section is responsible for managing the Questacon Centre ensuring all visitors have great experiences. The section also has responsibility for developing connections with visitors, school groups and members that promote and encourage more audiences to visit and engage with Questacon as a whole. The team comprises of various functions including, Visitor Experiences, Events, Retail, Memberships, Tourism and Group Bookings. These teams maximise day to day operations and drive new business opportunities so more visitors can engage with Questacon.

**What you will do**:
Questacon is looking for multiple APS Level 5 and APS Level 6 staff to support the operational outcomes of our organisation in the two teams that form the Centre Experience section.

As a **Centres Experience APS 5 Officer**, you will:

- Provide support to one of the Centre Experience teams, as outlined below.
- Work cooperatively with key stakeholders and collaborating across the organisation to deliver successful and positive outcomes.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, briefings, and site visits, which may include engaging and managing external contractors.
- Manage internal communications related to the team area they work within.

The **_C_**entres’ Business Team** sits within the Centre Experience section and drives commercial growth for Questacon through consolidating and pursuing commercial business opportunities, often in close collaboration with other Questacon teams to effectively operate business functions. The team oversees the effective operation and commercial innovation of the: Schools’ tourism business, Questacon membership program, Questacon retail onsite and online, ticketing operations, events and festivals, and the Questacon café experience.

As the **APS 6 Events Team Leader**, you will:

- Coordinate the event management process in a professional and efficient manner. Including, progressing all event requests through the approval process, and providing advice and accurate costings to assist the approval process
- Manage the Events inbox, including responding to all enquiries in a timely manner. Providing excellent customer service to all event stakeholders
- Support internal teams plan and deliver their own events in line with the events framework by facilitating event meetings, completi
