We are currently looking for a security cleared (NV1 or higher) Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. No two days are the same in this role which is essential to the success of the project. We are looking for multi-skilled, flexible, hardworking people who are keen to grow their career within a leading Defence supplier. This role will see you take on a range of tasks including management of the project team and overseeing all aspects of the project such as finance, scheduling, and transition phases.

**What will I be doing day to day?**
- Liaise directly with the Commonwealth
- Responsible for long-term relationship and operation of the contract with overall responsibility for contract delivery (planning, monitoring & control, reporting)
- Maintain contractual documentation
- Manage a support to the multi-disciplined project
- Identify and interpret relevant legislation, policies, strategies, business, and team requirements
- Engage and negotiate with stakeholders on complex issues

**What sort of skills do I need?**
- Experience within a government or Defence environment
- Experience in a Project Management role
- Project Management qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Process orientated with good attention to detail
- Hold a minimum NV1 security clearance (must be an Australian citizen)
