**ABOUT US**:
LandHQ is a specialist John Deere Compact Construction, Ag and Turf Machinery dealership with locations in Bowral, Penrith, Nowra, and Queanbeyan. Our focus is providing our customers with exceptional service and tailored advice, paired with cost effective solutions all in a one-stop shop.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Working with the well-known and highly respected John Deere range of agricultural, turf and golf machinery, our Service Manager will be responsible for the overall success of the service function including staff engagement, service profitability and external customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Facilitating the development and training of service personnel, including reviewing efficiencies and assigning training where required
- Executing annual service department goals, budgets, and marketing plans in alignment with the branch and broader company strategic and operational objectives
- Assisting the human resource’s function including recruitment, on-boarding, training, performance management and off-boarding
- Scheduling and assigning jobs and work areas to service employees according to their skills and knowledge
- Providing technical advice and mechanical support to our customers and service technicians
- Leading by example to promote health and safety at every opportunity

**Skills, Knowledge, and Experience**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a qualified agricultural, heavy vehicle or plant mechanic with a solid understanding of service department operations
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding time management skills and proven experience in prioritising workflow to meet deadlines
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
