**About the role**:
As part of our growth journey, we are looking for a talented
**Content Publisher** to join our Editorial Team. The Editorial team is responsible for the implementation of our Motors content strategy. We drive Editorial excellence across the Motors organisation, to ensure we deliver value to our audience and partners. This role plays a key part in supporting, developing and publishing digital content for the Editorial team, working with other Editorial team members to publish content effectively and efficiently, while promoting content daily through various channels and completely general week-to-week admin tasks.

**Your Role**:

- Developing expert skills with publishing tools and programs
- Publishing written and video content according to CarsGuide standards and timeframes
- Ensuring headlines, captions and imagery are accurate and optimised
- Treating embargoed or time-sensitive content with caution
- Being mindful of SEO best practices
- Optimising the value of each page with in-text links, captions, galleries etc.
- Being flexible in adapting to shifting priorities
- Proactively contributing to team discussions
- Fostering effective relationships with the wider CarsGuide team
- Basic Photoshop and video editing
- Participating in returning and collecting of press vehicles
- Helping out with social media moderation and contribution
- Moderating website comments daily

**What you’ll bring to the role**:

- Qualifications - Essential: Nil / Desirable: Bachelor's degree in Media or formal training in Photoshop and video editing
- Proven experience in a similar role in a fast-paced organisation
- Professional career experience should include exposure to media and communications in the digital space
- Confident in digital publishing and using a editorial CMS
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised and ability to manage multiple competing tasks
- Hands-on, pragmatic and ‘can-do’ attitude
- High attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
