**JOB TITLE**:MANUFACTURING/CUSTOMER SERVICE **JOB TYPE**:Full time 40hr / week - Monday - Friday. **JOB DESCRIPTION**: To plan, design, organise and control production to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and to a high standard. - Controls warehouse of 2 staff - Basic design skills - Using information supplied by sales department on a customer contract, produce viable concrete and building designs which satisfy RAS' engineering and general building practice. - Produce acurate plans and drawings for all manufacture and construction purposes. - Produce accurate bill of materials for each job to ensure a complete "kit" is assembled for supply / construction. - Prepare orders for all externally sourced and stock-held product. - Monitor and maintain levels of stock held items and manage quantity and quality control for all stores. - Manage dispatch, receipt and storage of all goods. **MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES**: - examine each job to ensure all doors / windows fit and overall plan works with available materials and within engineering limitations; - decide what materials are required; - ensure that the production is cost effective; - liase with sales / construction to ensure the end product is what the customer expects; - raise materials orders; - produce detailed workshop drawings to facilitate manufacture of bespoke items and per-job trusses etc as necessary - ensure all stock levels are kept at acceptable levels; - liase with workshop staff to ensure quality control standards are met; - prepare all internal orders ("RAS orders" ) prior to dispatch for each job; - liaise among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers etc and re-negotiate timeframes or schedules as necessary; - organise the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment including vehicle fleet; - supervise and motivate workshop workers; - review worker performance; - identify training needs; **Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Salary packaging Schedule: - 8 hour shift Work Location: One location
