Your Next Role

Reporting to the Health Safety and Service Manager, you will be instrumental in leading and developing a think safe and act safe culture through mentoring and coaching throughout the site.

All our people go home in the same condition they came to work; safety before production.
Leaders and teams are engaged, have the tools to do their job, and have the confidence and ability to manage HSE obligations and risks.
Establish and facilitate systematic approaches to risk assessments and risk management directed towards asset and operational lifecycle.
Manage site HSE event response and reporting procedures concerning significant hazards, injuries, incidents to ensure accurate and timely response and reporting.
Conduct formal investigations, specialist inspections and audits working with site management to ensure findings and actions address systematic improvement and controls effectiveness.
Liaise with line management on the safety aspects of plant/process modification.
About you

Tertiary qualifications in workplace health safety environment field and experience in a similar position.
Auditing qualification or significant experience in auditing processes.
Formal Investigation Qualifications and applied experience in conducting HSE Investigations.
Current Driver’s Licence.
Specialist knowledge, or the ability to acquire specialist knowledge, pertinent to WHS and the timber industry.
Broad industry experience in the development and implementation of a company WHSMS incorporating a risk management-based approach.
