**Position Information**:
Cooma Public School is located on Ngarigo land, in the center of Cooma, the gateway to the Snowy Mountains. We have a school culture that is focused on every student supporting them to connect, succeed and thrive. The school currently has an enrolment of 210 students which is inclusive of 2 supported learning classes.

**Selection Criteria**:
In addition to the general selection criteria, approval to teach infants and/or primary.
- An approachable leader with a strong commitment to enhancing positive wellbeing through addressing the social, emotional, and cultural needs of students, staff, and families, showcasing the ability to foster a positive, inclusive whole school community.
- Outstanding collaboration skills, built on trust, with the ability to work as part of a leadership team that can lead, mentor, and inspire a team of both experienced and beginning teachers to implement innovative pedagogy in a dynamic learning environment.
- Strategic skills and a demonstrated commitment to the values of Public Education to strengthen the capabilities of teachers to progress schoolwide priorities through effective collaboration.
**General Selection Criteria**:
1. Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice
- 2. Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programs- 3. Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams- 4. Well developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents- 5. Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning- 6. Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy**Conditions**:
