Café Assistant/ Barista

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are seeking a Café Coordinator/Barista to join our collaborative Client Services team in Melbourne on an 8 month contract starting early October. This is an exciting opportunity for a service-oriented individual who enjoys working autonomously in a fast-paced environment. The position is full time, Monday -Friday, 7:30am
- 3:45pm.

In this position you will oversee the successful daily management of our onsite café and provide broader support to the Client Services team as required. This will include:

- Deliver a high quality/high turnover coffee preparation and service.
- Coordinate food service with the Head Chef, sharing feedback to provide a well-balanced, nutritional and tasty food offering.
- Manage the POS systems including daily menu updates and regular reporting.
- Ordering, stocktake and invoice handling for Café provisions.
- Manage the 80C café communications, documentation, financial reconciliation and reports.
- Assist with cleaning, washing of café equipment and tables.

**SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated barista experience in a busy environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent composure with ability to prioritise and problem solve under pressure
- High level of customer focus
