Eastern States Engineering is a private company established in 2015. Our headquarters is based in Brisbane with major well-equipped manufacturing factories in Adelaide and Perth to serve our customers and partners nationwide. We specialised in the engineering and fabrication of structural steel and framing in a wide arrange of industrial sectors, including modular building, commercial construction, infrastructure, energy, and site service. Due to the increasing sales, this is a great opportunity for a passionate and experienced Draftsperson to join our office team in Carole Park, QLD.

Reporting to the Management Team, your requirements and responsibilities will include:

- Minimum 1-year practical experience in framing design.
- Junior draftsman is welcome to apply, and in-house training will be provided.
- Experience in modular building and residential building is an advantage.
- Design and detailing light gauge framing system.
- Assist with estimating capacity using Framecad’s Online AI Estimator system.
- Use Framecad Detailer for the final review of framing files, and convert files to CSV file formats for each specific framing machine.
- Calculate wall framing designs for manhandling, weight limitations, and transport limitations
- Review clients’ designs for buildability.
- Collaborate with Lead Designer for review of designs and drawings
- Make adjustments to drawings according to feedback from clients, architects and engineers
- Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, Australian Standards, and quality standards
- Work towards full turnkey supply to clients i.e., all nuts bolts, screws etc for installation on site.
- Liaise with factory for scheduling, issues, errors and rectification works.
- Update quote and project registers.
- Any reasonable task attached to this kind of position.

**Salary**: $58,969.35 - $105,991.97 per year
