[Job Location]: North and South of the River

[Salary]: $28.95 per hour

[Job Description]: As a Support Worker at Southern River Care, you will have the inspiring role of providing care and support to the elderly and disabled individuals in their homes. You will join a compassionate team dedicated to enabling client independence and building relationships within the community. Acting with respect for people's rights and freedoms, you will deliver practical services with integrity, ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide social support and assistance with shopping.
- Administer personal care and medications according to individual needs.
- Deliver care, support, and services in a safe and competent manner, following the Support Plan.
- Uphold a commitment to providing care, support, and services free from violence, discrimination, exploitation, neglect, abuse, and sexual misconduct.
- Promptly address and report concerns that may affect the quality and safety of care, support, and services.
- Respect the privacy of individuals and maintain confidentiality.
- Ensure the use of safe products during the provision of support.
- Provide food services to clients as required.
- Be responsive to individual needs and preferences.
- Deliver excellent customer service consistently.

**Requirements**:

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Valid WA driving license.
- Experience as a disability support worker (desirable).
- Fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (desirable).
- Women Support Workers (desirable).
