**The Role**

Endeavour Group has been operating as a demerged, stand alone ASX top 50 company for approximately 15 months.

We operate bottle shops, hotels, accommodation and wineries stretching across nearly every community in Australia. We employ nearly 30,000 people, from store and hospitality workers through to viticulturalists and data scientists in our technology division. We have a multifaceted story relevant to many stakeholders.

The purpose of this role is to enable our business strategy, enhance and protect our reputation, and to build our credentials in sustainable growth and leadership in responsibility.

The role will lead the development and implementation of the external communications and media relations strategy, working in close partnership with Corporate Affairs and Sustainability colleagues. Key to success in this role is broad strategic leadership and counsel to senior leaders on integrated corporate affairs.

The role will be accountable for Group communications, including the financial reporting and disclosures cycle, issues and crisis management, digital and social content strategy, broad media and external stakeholder relationship management, and strategic support to brand PR and communications efforts.

This is a dynamic role for a senior practitioner with broad experience in external public affairs.

**What You'll be Doing**
- Lead reputation and public affairs strategy for Group priorities.
- Strategic counsel to the CEO and Executive Committee
- Media management, including process and resourcing for reactive and proactive media.
- Message creation for multiple audiences, including expert narrative creation that embodies our brand ID.
- Awareness of and planning for reputation elements in the industry and policy arenas.
- Executive relationship development for the Group across all relevant media stakeholders, from key journalists to executive and editorial leaders.

**About You**
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in applicable field (business, communications, journalism, policy, law)
- 10 years minimum experience in one or more of the following fields: Corporate Affairs, journalism, public policy, stakeholder management across either media, governments, bureaucracy or consultancies
- Proven track record of executive stakeholder management
- Existing, diverse media network
- Hospitality, liquor or gaming experience desirable
