Georgiou Group has partnered with ACCIONA Construction Australia in a joint venture to deliver a new train station located in Hope Island on the Gold Coast. The Hope Island Station will form part of the Cross River Rail New Gold Coast Stations program. The project will involve construction of a new station structure, car park, intersection upgrades and associated services.

You will have the opportunity to take on a multi-disciplined and exciting role in delivering a key piece of infrastructure for the Gold Coast community.

**What you’ll do**:

- Responsible for the effective and efficient planning of resources by assisting with the selection of people, equipment, suppliers, and subcontractors to undertake the project in collaboration with the Project Manager and the broader project team.
- Participate in the development of detailed planning processes, including the overall project program and short-term look ahead programs.
- Ensuring daily adherence to detailed plans and methods by field Supervisors.
- Ensures that the construction methodology is planned well in advance and options are communicated with the project team to ensure that success is achieved.
- Arrange, manage and monitor the implementation of the relevant HSE&Q project plans, and manage any non-conformances in a timely manner.
- Responsible for the project HSEQ performance and culture by complying with the joint venture safety management policies and ensuring work is constructed in accordance with project specifications.
- Responsible for promoting a harmonious industrial relations environment on the project through consultative and effective relationships.

**What you're good at**:

- Extensive experience in supervising multi-disciplined work teams in the construction industry across buildings, structures, and civil infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience and a good understanding of supervising the construction of railway stations
- Experience and a good understanding of working in a brownfield rail environment in Queensland is highly desirable.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of environmental compliance.
- Demonstrating a high safety performance standard on-site, aligning with legislation and site standards.
- Excellent communication and management skills with the ability to implement improvements in productivity and drive project outcomes.
- Excellent client and subcontractor stakeholder management skills; through the development and maintenance of effective relationships, clear obligations in the program and coordination of field activities to meet project outcomes.
