**About the role**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to for a HR Advisor to join us on a permanent basis. Joining a centralised team of eight HR Advisors and reporting to the HR Advisory Team Leader - Retail, you will work as part of a collaborative, supportive and flexible culture to provide HR advice to leaders and employees across the Retail Operations business.
As an Ampol HR Advisor, your focus will be providing strategic employment relations solutions to guide the business whilst assisting leaders with a range of disciplinary matters and performance management outcomes. You will provide support to leaders and employees in relation to HR policy interpretation and process advice, Award/EA interpretation and advise on the management of return to work strategies. In addition, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure to on critical business projects by supporting the wider HR Team on EA negotiations, restructures and other generalist HR programs of work.
This is a varied and broad role, which would suit someone with a strong generalist foundation looking to take the next step in their career.We offer fantastic learning and development opportunities and strong ownership of cases with the opportunity to get exposure in an interesting and broad ASX listed company.
We are based at Alexandria in brand new offices, close to off-site parking facilities and a 7 minute walk from Green Square station. Work from home flexibility is provided This position is also based in our Brisbane CBD Office.
**About you**:
You will have a minimum 2 plus years’ experience as an HR Advisor or HR Generalist. Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Business or a related field would be desirable. You will have demonstrated solid ER case management experience and will be used to working in a high-volume HR transactional environment. Salesforce and SAP experience will be advantageous.
We are looking for individuals that bring exceptional customer service and communication skills demonstrating a commitment to deliver quality services to the business. Strong influencing skills along with the ability to build solid relationships across the business. Additionally, you will be able to prioritise and manage a variety of HR Advisory cases and projects. Previous experience in the retail sector will be highly regarded.
