Transport & Commercial Analyst

The **Transport & Commercial Analyst** will be responsible for analysing and interpreting data related to transport / logistics operations and creating analysis that provide insights into business performance.

If you are a data-driven problem solver with a passion for the transport and logistics industry and advanced knowledge of SAP, SQL, Excel, and Power Query, this could be the role for you. You will play a critical role in driving operational efficiency, strategic decisions with vendors and improving business performance.

***In this role you will be responsible for**:

- Analysing and interpreting large data sets related to transport and logistics operations and related supply chain metrics, using SQL, Excel, and Power Query.
- Month-end accruals liaising nationally and provide them to Finance by Due Date
- Support key business initiatives driving better results to the business.
- Invoice reconciliations
- Ad-hoc projects as required by the business.

***Skills & experience required**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business, logistics, or supply chain management.
- 3+ years of experience in a data analysis or reporting role, in the transport and logistics industry.
- Strong analytical skills, including experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, Excel, and Power Query to manage data and extract insights.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to proactively present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work collaboratively with related functions to achieve business objectives.
- Familiarity with supply chain management software and systems.
- Experience with courier/parcel transport networks
- Excel VBA
- SAP HANA and SAP ERP Software
- Tableau
- Knowledge in related supply chain areas (Warehouse activities, Volume reporting)
