**What this opportunity involves**:
As the Retail Property Manager, you will be overseeing a portfolio of premium assets for a major property client located across the CBD and Docklands. Your key focus will be to optimise the performance of the properties under management through providing a high level of retailer, customer and client engagement.
You’ll be working autonomously, overseeing all facets of property management. Functions such as compilation and delivery of business plans, budgeting and forecasting, retail lease compliance, debt management, retail store liaison and stakeholder management will enable you to develop your already proven property management career.
**An Overview of the role**:
Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure that on site client’s expectations are met
Build and develop effective client / stakeholder relationships across multiple levels of the organisation
On-site key point of contact for Retailers as well as the Facilities Management and Building Management Teams in the client’s premises
Work with the Lessor’s Asset Services Manager and Centre Manager to develop a preventative maintenance plan for all Centre plant & equipment, assets, building & common areas to ensure a high level of Centre presentation and functional continuity of all plant & equipment
Ensure that all operating expenditure is managed to budget and report on any variances. Review and provide commentary each month on expenditure variances to budget for monthly client report
Establish and maintain harmonious relationships with local business community, community groups, local council and authorities.
Ensure vendors are well-managed within existing safe working methods and house rules to deliver services on time and within budget
Manage the vendor procurement processes and ensure is compliant with agreed client procurement guidelines and objectives as well as JLL best practice
Actively work to ensure that the centre’s operations budgets are meeting or exceeding targets
Monthly reporting/recommendations
Manage the Centre cleaning and security contracts to ensure that all deliverables in the service agreement are being met on a daily basis, and manage any performance issues in accordance with the remedies specified in the service contract

Sets stretch targets, and rigorously monitors and manages individual performance.
Has a high level of efficiency working in excel tracking various financial components of retail and asset performance
Can take initiative and is self-motivated to deliver thorough and effective reporting to the client
Demonstrates a high attention to detail when it comes to all financial matters and adherence to the centre budgets
