**About the role**
This is a permanent, full time, Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm position working
**35 hours** per week. Located at the Nowra Administration Building

The advertised salary is based on the grade of the position, comprising of 4 steps within the range shown. The starting salary is at Step 1 within the grade. Progression through the salary steps shall be based upon the achievement of performance objectives relating to the position.

**Duties**
Reporting directly to the Project Manager - Major, the focus of this position is to:

- To provide support to Project Manager - Major in the delivery of a wide range of infrastructure construction projects.
- To coordinate site surveillance of construction works to monitor technical, quality, environment and work health and safety compliance for both internal and external contractors
- To undertake design development management, including procurement for a range of minor infrastructure construction works.
- To undertake construction management, including procurement for a range of minor infrastructure construction works
- To assist in the maintenance of an estimation database for infrastructure construction works
- To facilitate project decommissioning on completion of construction works

**Skills & Experience**
In order to be successful in the position, you will be/ possess:

- Certificate IV in Building or Construction, Project Management, Engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience in the building or construction industry
- Demonstrated experience in a range of design development and construction delivery functions including procurement, time, cost, quality and contract surveillance
- Construction Industry Induction Card (or NSW GIT Card)
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
- Proof of Australian residency or citizenship
